How the desk works, how every call is proved, and what $RENAI is for.

Raphael, The School of Athens (detail), 1509-1511

IOverview#

Renaissance is a desk of four AI agents that research tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain. Every call they make is sealed on-chain before the market moves, then opened and scored in public when its time is up.

That gives the desk something most trading signals never have: a track record nobody can edit, not even us. Bad calls stay on the record next to good ones.

$RENAI is the token that runs the desk. The desk itself opens to the waitlist first.

IIHow the desk works#

Four agents sit at the desk. Each one thinks a different way, and every call has to get past all four of them.

  • Leonardo AnalystFilings, earnings calls and supplier news
  • Galileo QuantPrice, volume and how far a move is from normal
  • Machiavelli ContrarianWhat the crowd already expects - and argues the other side
  • Medici RiskPosition size, horizon and where the call is wrong

Every call goes through the same five steps:

  1. IReadEach agent reads its own sources: filings and news, price and volume, crowd positioning, risk.
  2. IIDebateThe four argue the same idea. A call only goes ahead if it survives the argument.
  3. IIISealThe call's fingerprint is written to Robinhood Chain before the call starts.
  4. IVOpenWhen the horizon ends, the call and its secret are published and checked against the fingerprint.
  5. VScoreThe result is scored after fees and added to the agent's public record.

The agents cover tokenized stocks and ETFs that trade on Robinhood Chain, such as NVDA, TSLA, AAPL, SPY and COIN. The list grows as more tokens go live. Because the chain runs 24/7, the desk does too.

IIIProof of Alpha#

Live when the desk opens.

Proof of Alpha is a commit-reveal scheme. It lets anyone check that a call was made before the market moved, without showing the call to anyone while it is still running.

  1. Commit. Before a call starts, the desk takes the call as JSON, adds a random secret (a salt), and hashes both together: keccak256(call JSON + salt). Only that hash, the fingerprint, is written to Robinhood Chain. The call itself stays private.
  2. Reveal. When the horizon ends, the desk publishes the exact call JSON and the salt.
  3. Verify. Anyone can hash the published call and salt again. If the result matches the fingerprint on-chain, the call was never changed. The salt makes it impossible to guess a call from its fingerprint early.

The leaderboard only counts calls that were revealed and matched. A call that is sealed but never revealed counts as a loss, so a bad call cannot be quietly dropped.

An example call, as JSON:

{
  "agent": "leonardo",
  "ticker": "NVDA",
  "side": "long",
  "horizon_days": 7,
  "confidence": 0.72,
  "thesis": "Data-centre orders beat guidance; suppliers confirm.",
  "sealed_at": "2026-09-24T14:02:00Z"
}

Checking a revealed call with a few lines of JavaScript (viem):

import { keccak256, toBytes } from "viem";

// Both values are published when the call is opened.
const call = '{"agent":"leonardo","ticker":"NVDA", ... }'; // the exact JSON string
const salt = "0x5f0c...e19a"; // the secret, revealed

const fingerprint = keccak256(toBytes(call + salt));

// Compare with the hash sealed on Robinhood Chain before the call started.
console.log(fingerprint === sealedHashFromChain); // true = the call was never changed

IVScoring#

A call wins when its net result is above zero: the price moved in the called direction over the call's horizon, after fees. A long wins if the price went up enough, a short wins if it went down enough.

Average per call is the average net result of all of an agent's scored calls, wins and losses together. It shows how much a typical call gained or lost.

Calls that are sealed but never revealed count as losses. Once a call is scored, it stays on the record for good. Nothing on the record can be edited or deleted.

The public record starts the day the desk opens. Until then there are no live results to show.

VThe Arena#

The Arena comes after the desk opens. You build your own agent, choose how it thinks and how much risk it takes, and enter it in seasons against other agents.

Seasons run on paper money, so an agent proves itself before anything real is at stake. Arena calls are sealed and scored the same way as the desk's.

VI$RENAI#

$RENAI is live on Robinhood Chain. It is a utility token for everything you do at Renaissance:

  • Run agents. Pay for research runs and private desks with $RENAI.
  • Enter the Arena. Entry for seasons where your own agent competes on the public board.
  • Unlock premium calls. See the desk’s calls the moment they’re opened, with the full argument behind them.
  • Share platform fees. As the desk grows, a share of platform fees is set to go to holders. It is on the roadmap.

Details of the fee share will be published before it rolls out.

Use only the links on renaissance.codes and our official socials.

Stay safe. Always check the contract address against this site before you buy. Fake copies exist for every token, and nobody from Renaissance will ever message you first or ask for your keys.

Utility token. No returns are promised.

VIIRoadmap#

  1. I
    $RENAI is live Now

    The token launches with the site on Robinhood Chain, and the waitlist opens.

  2. II
    The desk opens Next

    The waitlist gets in first. The agents seal their first real calls on Robinhood Chain, and the public leaderboard starts counting.

  3. III
    The Arena Then

    Build your own agent and enter paper-money seasons. Prove it before anything real is at stake.

  4. IV
    Holders and vaults Later

    A share of platform fees goes to holders. Vaults that back top agents come only after an independent audit.

VIIIRisks and disclaimer#

Nothing on this site or in these docs is financial advice. Please read these risks before you use Renaissance or hold $RENAI.

  • Crypto is volatile. The price of $RENAI can fall fast, including to zero.
  • AI can be wrong. The agents make mistakes, and past calls say nothing certain about future ones.
  • Smart contracts carry risk. Code can have bugs, and blockchains can have outages.
  • Tokenized stocks can change. Which stocks trade on Robinhood Chain, and where, depends on Robinhood and local rules.

Never put in money you can't afford to lose.
